Flank Streak with Blackberry-Avocado Salsa

Ingredients
- Red wine, 1 cup
- garlic, 3 cloves minced
- Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbps
- Balsamic vinegar, 3 tbps
- Dijon mustard, 1 tbps
- Salt, 0.5 tsp
- Black pepper, 0.5 tsp
- Flank Steak, 1.5 lbs
- Fresh blackberries, 12 ounces, chopped
- Avocado, 1 large, diced
- Red Onion, 0.25 cup, diced
- Fresh cilantro, 0.25 cup, chopped
- Lime, 1 juiced
- Jalapeno, 1, seeded and finely chopped
Cooking Directions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the wine, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, mustard, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the steak in a zip-close bag. Pur in the marinade, sale and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
- In a large bowl, gently toss together the blackberries, avocado, red onion, cilantro, lime juice and jalapeno. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high. Grill steak for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until meat reaches desired doneness (135 degrees for medium doneness).
- Transfer steak to a plate and allow to rest for 10 minutes, then slice against the grain. Top steak with salsa and serve warm.
