Ingredients
- Dill with stems, half of a bunch
- Olive oil, 0.5 cup
- Fine sea salt, 0.5 teaspoon
- Ice
Kitchen Tools
- Sauce pan
- Bowl
- Tea towel
- Blender
- Cheese cloth or coffee filter
Cooking Directions
- Boil water and blanch dill for 30 seconds.
- Remove dill and place in an ice bath or cold water rinse.
- Pat dill dry.
- Add dill to blender with oil and salt for 3 minutes (smooth).
- Line sieve with 3 layers of cheesecloth or a coffee filter, pour oil in and let strain for a few hours, stir occasionally (do not press).
